I am a Marine Biologist and have been researching and educating people about the fascinating animals that we have along the Oregon Coast, including the Gray Whales, for 35 years!     We loved our stay at the Eagles Nest. It’s perfect for a two-some. Cozy and quaint. Lots of options for shopping and food near by. The bed is comfortable with plenty of pillows and blankets if needed. We enjoyed the ambiance at night with the lights from the bay.

      Carrie’s place is amazing, my whole experience was amazing. Her place is cozy, clean, well stocked and cutely decorated, so many Octopus! The bed was super comfortable. Carrie was able to work me into a whale watching trip that she manages and going out of Depot Bay is an experience every one should have! From eagles, baby seals and gorgeous views this is the place to go! I will definitely be back

        Such a delightful place to stay! The place is so roomy and the decor is so fun! We had 7 of us and it was perfect. Carrie is a wonderful, friendly host and her knowledge & expertise in marine life is excellent. We would highly recommend this place for a unique, one of a kind experience.

          Trips captained by Carrie and her Expert Marine Naturalist captains. Our focus is to provide you with a safe, comfortable and especially an educational trip! Our ex-military/navy seal Zodiac boats are #1 in safety and people seldom get seasick on them.

          Located right next door, Whale Bites Café is open for breakfast and lunch. Nutritious, delicious, fast, & affordable breakfast & lunch options! Fresh baked breads & pastries, all with a beautiful view and wonderful staff that will make you feel right at home.

          Museum

          In 2012 the Whale, Sealife and Shark Museum opened. Carrie has been a collector of marine specimens ever since she was four years old. She want to share her love of the ocean with as many people as she could so she figured that this would be a perfect way and place to share them.
